Environment Design - The Musty Lid

Part of the Wind In The Willows project! Inspired by the art of Nicholas Kole and Spyro!

This is the bar where the Weasels hang out, inspired by the Luray Caves in Virginia, where you can play the cave on an organ, and speakeasies and night clubs. This scavenged bar is located in a small underwater cave, and serves as a hub for mercenaries, musicians and bootleggers alike!

Moodboard!
Thumbails! I settled on my favorites early on, and got to tweaking them until they felt dynamic but navigable.
I grayboxed the environment in Maya, and then imported it into Blender as an OBJ to take screenshots of the environment at different angles. I settled on this angle, with cutaways to other important parts of the environment, such as the brewery and the head honcho's office that I couldn't show on the larger model without removing important walls.
