Part of the Wind In The Willows project! Inspired by the art of Nicholas Kole and Spyro!

A hypothetical splash art illustration, featuring the landscapes of Appalachia and the spongemarine asset I designed for this project. This hypothetical game was designed as a cozy co-op with a focus on crafting and exploration. I wanted to show both the co-op nature of this game as well as the environment and the junk-based crafting systems in this illustration, as well as set a whimsical, strange but welcoming tone that invites the viewer to step inside to the world, and learn more about it.
